Annual Power of Giving Celebration 2019

On Tuesday, April 30, Christian Community Foundation gathered together with its army of givers for its Annual Power of Giving Celebration. More than 150 attendees celebrated CCF at the Memphis Botanic Gardens as president Rex Jones and board members presented on the state of the organization. At the event, Lauren Wilson-Young, board member and founder of Sweet LaLa's Bakery, spoke about her family's history with the city of Memphis and the importance of giving back.

CCF also announced a new fund at the event. The NexGen fund is a new way for donors to develop a strategy for generosity with and for their friends and family members. Existing donors with an account can open a NexGen fund, without the regular minimum balance, and transfer money from their current account in an effort to further the next generation of donors and introduce them to the joys of giving.

Note: CCF's 2020 Annual Power of Giving Celebration is postponed until Oct. 2021.
